The rest of the cast-series star Teresa Ramirez (Rosa), Victoria Campos (Elsa), and Miguel (Alfonso)-were shocked to see that Luis really was killed, though none of them knew who really was responsible, after which Luis' death was classified as a "heart attack." After 2000 episodes, the series ended 15 years prior to the events on a notoriously disappointing note, however, it was actually uncovered that there was more to the final scene, as an extended scene suddenly ended with Luis shot to death.
